A Zombie, A Dragon, and A Vampire Who Sparkles

Book by Maureen Borillo, Music and Lyrics by Dan Wessels

Just another teen-angst-post-apocalyptic-fantasy-horror-in-a-role-playing-game musical love story.

Ginny is determined to date the cutest guy in school. She'll do anything to impress him, even if it means playing along in his nerdy world filled with zombies and dragons.

CREATIVE TEAM - BIOGRAPHIES

Jerry A Blackburn (Stage Manager) is a production stage manager at his second fringe show and his second show at NMI.   Previously Jerry has worked with Carol Channing, Kathy Najimi, Mo Gaffney, Eden Espinosa, Toni Morrell, Alejandro Patino, Mia Xitlali , Andrew Allen, Will Shupe, Conchita Belisle Newman, Philip McBride, Kay Sedia Amir Levi and Andrew Joseph Perez.  Jerry received his Master’s of orchestral conducting from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 1987 and has been working in film and theater since 1975.  Jerry would like to thank his stage manger mentor Vernon Willet for his friendship and guidance over the years.

Maureen Borillo (Book) is thrilled to be part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival!  As a member of ANMT/NMI, her works include Divine Encounter (music by William Johnson, lyrics by Jeffrey Scharf) and Witch Is It? (music by Matthew Levine, lyrics by Richard Castle).  Maureen is grateful to God for the ability to write for musical theatre.  Many thanks to her mom and the rest of her family and friends for their support.

Megan Duquette (Ginny/Ginnia Evergreen) is excited to be part of this great show and to be playing opposite the most dreamy man to whom she is actually engaged to be married in real-life (Aaron Eberhardt).  Favorite past performances include: The Foreigner (Betty Meeks), Cinderella (Wicked Stepsister), Something’s Afoot (Hope Langdon) and last year’s award-winning Hollywood Fringe Festival World Premiere play The Wheel of Invention (Melanie/Mother). She is excited to be back at #HFF17 this year and thanks everyone at NMI for making this show happen!  http://www.meganduquette.com

Aaron Eberhardt (Brad/Count Braddock) Is the ridiculous combination of a production sound mixer, tenor 1, and aspiring actor all rolled into one. He has thoroughly enjoyed acting yet again alongside his exceedingly talented bride to be, Megan Duquette, in the part he was born to play, a sparkly vampire warrior! In his spare time, he enjoys long bike rides along the coast, a riveting game of Settlers of Catan, and having wondrous adventures with his delightful canine companion, Samwise Gamgee. His favorite roles include Toad in “The Wind and the Willows,” Linus in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown,” and Bob Ewell in “To Kill A Mockingbird.” He is honored to work amongst an absolutely outstanding cast and crew and looks forward to finally being able to play Dungeon and Dragons with girls, like for real.

Some highlights in theater include “Frankie” in A Lie of the Mind and “Curly” in Oklahoma, while film and television credits include Royal Pains and The Roosevelts. When not performing you can see him consulting others on travel, helping people as a personal trainer, or working on his martial arts skills and brushing up on his reading.
