We’re a coalition of like-minded theatres working together to create new musicals for co-development and potential rolling world premieres.
The idea is for theatres to work together to develop new musicals which might have a life beyond the originating theatre. Can we nurture some promising ideas which a bunch of us might possibly want to include in upcoming seasons?
Originating theatres share in royalties in perpetuity.

The Maltese Falcon Musical Nightmare!
A five-actor farcical version of The Maltese Falcon, in the vein of The 39 Steps. It’s the night before Sam Spade’s deposition defending himself against accusations that he murdered his own partner. He’s having nightmares, taunted by the villains, double-crossers, and femmes-fatale who’d be delighted to see Spade swing for their crimes! Lead dramaturgy: Actors Theatre of Indiana, Third Avenue Playworks, Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre.

Edgy New Musical
A coalition of theatres joining forces for social change. We’re currently exploring topics, demographics, and issues, as well as cast size. Join TheatreSquared, Cody Lassen Productions, Human Race Theater, Sacred Fools Theatre, Doma Theatre, Playhouse on the Square, Florida Stage, Theatreworks and others. The Fish Whisperer
A warm, bittersweet, family-friendly new musical with a cast of seven. Is Hannah Hill a fish whisperer, or a conwoman? Should the poor residents of Shewauga, Wisconsin pay her ten thousand dollars to get the fish to start biting again…or run her out on the rails? World premiere at the Northern Sky Theatre in summer 2023; 2024 production at the Great American Melodrama Theatre. Rights available for 2025 seasons.
