Widespread Manhattan Power Outage Causes Broadway Cancellations and Delays

A power outage impacted several blocks in midtown Manhattan in the late afternoon July 13, spanning from around 72nd Street down into the theatre district. Several Broadway theatres lost power in the outage, causing productions to delay their Saturday evening performances (while running on a generator) and others to cancel altogether.
